Transportation to Blue Spirit
Blue Spirit Retreat Center is located about 3 hours from Liberia International Airport (LIR). We offer two transportation options between the airport and Blue Spirit.
Shared Shuttle
Arrivals: Our shared shuttle between Liberia Airport and Blue Spirit are offered solely on Saturdays, the main arrival and departure day for retreats. Guests arriving around the same time are grouped together and travel in a shared vehicle.
When you exit the airport, look for our representative holding a Blue Spirit sign. They will be near the coffee shop outside the main exit and will guide you to the shuttle.
Departures: Shared shuttles leave Blue Spirit between 6:45 AM and 10:15 AM on Saturdays. If an earlier shuttle is needed, we will try to accommodate. Otherwise, you will need to book a private vehicle. The drive to the airport takes about three hours and we recommend selecting a shuttle that allows you to arrive about three hours before your flight.
Price: $65 per person (plus 13% tax)
Note: Transportation reservations open approximately one month before your travel date and must be made at least 48 hours in advance.
Private Vehicle
A private vehicle is reserved just for you or your group and departs when you are ready. It travels directly between Liberia Airport and Blue Spirit without waiting for other passengers.
Private cars are available any day of the week.

Reservations & Schedules
You may reschedule without penalty up to 48 hours before the scheduled pickup time, subject to availability. Requests for rescheduling made less than 48 hours in advance may incur a fee.
While rare, some guests book flights that arrive when no other guests are landing. If your flight will arrive at one of these odd times, we will reach out to you to book private transportation.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation fees apply if you cancel:
- More than 48 hours before: 70% refund
- 24–48 hours before pickup: 50% refund
- Less than 24 hours before pickup: No refund
