Shuttle & Transport Service
Blue Spirit offers an exclusive group shuttle service to and from Liberia International Airport LIR. This service is available only on Saturdays for groups of 4 or more. It is a scenic three-hour drive.
Payment for these transportation services can be made online via credit card, when making your reservation below.
Please note that our shuttle booking calendar opens up a month in advance. For example, if you are looking to book a shuttle in February, the availability will open up for booking in January.

Shuttle Times
ARRIVAL
We offer airport pick up services for our guests at the Liberia International Airport LIR, aligning with most U.S. flight arrivals. This service is only available on Saturdays and you need to make a reservation prior using the booking page.
Please understand that there are some waiting times until all guests for the planned shuttle arrive. Once you land, it might take between 30 – 60 minutes to go through immigration, customs and baggage claim. When you retrieve your luggage and pass customs, the shuttle organizer will be at LIR Airport next to the main exit at the coffeeshop waiting with a Blue Spirit sign.
DEPARTURE
For your departure from Blue Spirit, we offer several group shuttle services each Saturday to Liberia International Airport between 6:00 a.m. and 9:45 a.m. only.
You should plan to be at the airport three hours before your flight’s departure. This means that if your home-bound flight leaves from Liberia at 2 p.m., we recommend that you to leave with the group shuttle from Blue Spirit at 8 a.m. to arrive in Liberia at 11:30 a.m. (around three hours before your scheduled flight). This service is only available on Saturdays and you need to make a reservation prior using the booking page.

Shuttle Service Availability
- Shuttle Service: Our shuttle service operates exclusively on Saturdays.
- Private Taxi Option: For transportation on days other than Saturday, we offer private taxi services, which must be booked separately.
The deadline for arrival shuttle reservations is 48h before the departure time.
Shuttle reservations sent via this form after this time are NOT processed, even though you may receive a confirmation e-mail.
Transportation requests and/or changes after this deadline must be made directly with the shuttle company Nosara Shuttle here, Blue Spirit is not responsible for this service if not booked through our shuttle service.
Departures:
The deadline for any last minute cancellation or flight updates is 48 hours before the departure time at the Front Desk.
CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY
Blue Spirit Costa Rica Shuttle Cancellation Policy
At Blue Spirit Costa Rica, we understand that travel plans can change unexpectedly. To provide a fair and transparent process for cancellations, we have implemented the following cancellation policy for our shuttle services:
Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations Made 48 Hours or More Before Pickup Time:
- Cancellations made at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled pickup time will be eligible for a refund, minus a non-refundable booking fee of 30% of the total fare.
- Cancellations Made Between 48 and 24 Hours Before Pickup Time:
- Cancellations made within this time frame will be eligible for a partial refund of 50% of the total fare.
- Cancellations Made Less Than 24 Hours Before Pickup Time:
- Unfortunately, cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled pickup time are non-refundable.
- No-Show Policy:
- If a passenger fails to appear at the designated pickup location without prior notice, the fare will be considered non-refundable.
Rescheduling Policy
- We offer the flexibility to reschedule shuttle services without penalty up to 48 hours before the scheduled pickup time, subject to availability. Requests for rescheduling made less than 48 hours in advance may incur additional fees.
Once the service has been confirmed, please note that the charge is non-refundable in the event of using another shuttle company, failure to show up at the airport, or making any last minute cancellations on the arrival date.
