Shanti Sounds Costa Rica is led by Ayi & Michael Wong Mayzel, a sound-focused healing duo based in Nosara—in the middle of Costa Rica’s Blue Zone region. They host sound journeys for both individuals and groups, combining deep relaxation and healing through holistic resonance.
What they offer

Instruments and partnerships
They’re the Paiste Authorized Gong Centre in Costa Rica and act as exclusive Costa Rican distributors for multiple instrument brands, including Crystal Tones Singing Bowls, Gongland Gongs, Oetken Gongs, Cristal Mines Lyres, and Koshi Chimes, along with Chakra Chants tuning forks and other unique instruments.
Their background and purpose
Ayi (from Amsterdam) and Michael (from Canada) bring extensive experience from meditation, bodywork, and sound practice. They travel globally to find and share distinctive musical healing tools, and they view their work as a Dharma—creating opportunities for people in Costa Rica to experience healing sound in community, including at their Sound Temple in Nosara.
