Dr. Mulukutla is a board-certified neurologist who founded Mindful Neurology PLLC to provide customized care with a focus on neuroplasticity and mind-body practices. No matter the level of impairment, Sarah can help you achieve greater health outcomes. Her vision is that we learn to access the body’s internal healing capacity and are inspired to pursue a life of healthy and meaningful activities.
Dr. Mulukutla has been lecturing on meditation since 2012, and is the Founder-Chairperson of the American Academy of Neurology Section on Neurohealth & Integrative Neurology. She completed neurology training at Yale University School of Medicine and currently practices in New York City. Sarah is an avid practitioner of Yoga and meditation.
For over twenty-five years, John Vosler’s passion has been teaching us how our thoughts, emotions and physical being are connected. He has a degree in Human Development and certifications in multiple healing modalities. As a senior teacher at the Amrit Yoga Institute, he speaks internationally on the profound healing benefits of the ancient meditation practice of Yoga Nidra. John has a successful holistic health practice in Los Angeles, California. He has worked with executives, athletes, celebrities, moms and other professionals attracted to John’s unique combination of intuitive awareness, understanding of the mind/body/spirit connection and expansive knowledge of physiology and the science of meditation. His infectious humor and compassionate heart make growth a joy filled experience.
Dr Judy Benjamin PhD is a yoga teacher and yoga therapist (RYT500), health coach and university professor. Judy teaches yoga around the world and has offered workshops at hospitals and community centers on special themes such as: Balance Workshop: Just Don’t Fall; Better Sleep with Yoga Nidra; Lower Stress—Improve Your Memory among other important topics. Judy’s health coaching includes a focus on cognition and reversing memory loss using the basics of Dr. Dale Bredesen’s Protocol (The End of Alzheimer’s). Judy has personally worked with Dr. Bredesen over the past 6 years and uses his protocol extensively with her coaching clients and personally follows it. Judy is an avid TM meditator (transcendental meditation) since 1978 and is currently collaborating on a research project about the effects of yoga and meditation on reversing mild cognitive impairment. Her foundational yoga training was in ashtanga/vinyasa yoga. She hones her yoga skills with courses at Sivananda Integral Yoga Institute in the Bahamas, Kripalu Center, Zenya Yoga and Yogaville. Judy holds a doctorate in Medical Anthropology from Binghamton University.
Marion (Mahima) is a lifelong student of movement. She began her yoga practice in 2000 and has been teaching since her 200 hour certification at Integral Yoga NYC in 2005. She additionally completed the 300 Jivamukti teacher training in 2015. For the past 5 years, she has been studying Sanskrit and Yoga Philosophy (Vedanta) at Ananda Ashram in Monroe, NY. Marion studied Tibetan singing bowl therapy in Nepal, pranayama in India, and has been a Gyrotonic trainer since 2005. She leads sounds baths and teaches Gyrotonic in and around NYC. As a cancer survivor, she is a firm believer in the healing power of this practice. Yoga is beneficial for everyone, and she aims to make the practice accessible to people of all ages, bodies, and experience levels. Sessions are tailored to your individual needs and incorporate sound, mantra, and breathing techniques. Expect a peaceful, nurturing, and accepting space in her classes.
