This retreat is led by Eli Rechtschaffen – Since a young age Eli has been drawn to self-exploration and has felt a strong connection with the spirits of nature – This connection led him to explore the world of Shamanism and to intensively study with indigenous people in South America – His journey has taken him to the depths of the Amazon jungle to learn about their medicinal plants and to learn a way of healing people in the truest form as our ancestors teach. The lineage that Eli follows is carried by Taita Juan from the Siona and Ingano tribes of Colombia. Alongside his studies in Colombia Eli was initiated into the shamanic lineage of the Peruvian Andes whereby he became a full mesa carrier.
Each year Eli leads healing retreats in Costa Rica, Mexico, USA and Colombia with people from all around the world. Eli spends most of his time in Costa Rica where but he continues to visit Colombia a few times a year for further studies. His life intention is to awaken all beings and to show them that what they are all searching for in their lives is within themselves already. Luis Gabriel is our main ceremonial musician. He plays the violin, guitar, flutes, percussions, piano and uses his voice.
Luis Gabriel has been studying music since he was 9-years-old and has been working with plant medicines for over 15 years. Luis Gabriel works directly with your Spirit to help heal blockages, traumas and energetic imbalances as to help us come back to our true essence. During this retreat Luis Gabriel will be playing music in our sacred ancestral ceremonies, will be offering sound healing sessions, ancestral dance classes and various forms of musical accompaniment during the retreat! It is such an honor to have him on this retreats with us! A true musical genius and one who sings and plays right from the heart and to the heart allowing for the deepest healing.
Sylvia Benito is a highly intuitive Being with a tremendous gift for seeing the programs, patterns and energies that are operating for people. She combines this gift with an ability to work with people in a gentle and healing manner to help them integrate life’s lessons and insights into their everyday life. Her path of conscious development started early with an unexpected awakening experience as a teenager, which led her to devote a decade of her life through her 20s to the work of a healer, the study of nondualism, the deepening of awakening, and the co-founding of the Oasis Institute in Buenos Aires.
She integrated this journey with the experience of becoming a working mother. With her deep intention to awaken fully in this lifetime, she has come face to face with some of the deeper karmic challenges of a human life. As her intuitive capacities have been combined with her experience of facing her own karmic depths, she has developed a tremendous ability to guide people in highly practical ways to integrate deep spiritual insights and experiences.
