Camilla Figueroa is the founder of Dharma Yoga Therapy and was the co-director of Dharma Yoga Austin for more than a decade. Earning a Master’s Degree in Clinical Social Work in 1999, Camilla began integrating the somatic aspects of yoga and meditation as a therapist with survivors of trauma in Austin’s Safe Place. Her experiences as a first-generation American, mother, Peace Corps volunteer, and somatic therapist deeply infuse her yoga classes with the empowering and healing aspects of Buddhist meditation, neuroscience, and yoga asana. She has been practicing yoga for twenty-five years, teaching for fifteen, and holds over a thousand hours of certification in Dharma Yoga, Thai Massage, and Yoga Therapy. Kelly’s deep love for meditation began 25 years ago and her practice has been guided by many remarkable spiritual teachers.
