The Hard & The Soft Eco Yoga Retreat

This yoga retreat is one of the best weeks at Blue Spirit and filled with bright, interesting, sustainably conscious and like-minded folks from all over the world.

This year we had people from Florida, Colorado, Texas, New York, Vancouver, Ottawa, California, Michigan, Nova Scotia, Chicago,North Carolina – it was fabulous. All these amazing men and women – grown ups, professionals – from 30’s – 70’s (even a couple of “daughters” in their late 20’s) gathering for stimulating conversation, fabulous meals, daily sunrise meditations, hikes, tree planting (service), swims in the sweet blue Pacific, sweaty therapeutic and cleansing asana and pranayama practices in the jungle with the howler monkeys, and mind blowing, educational eco-documentaries.

Tons of free time for solitude or reading or trips into town. A few words from this years participants “most powerful teaching and best conversations I’ve experience in years” “I’m 55 and not all that fit. I was worried I wouldn’t be able to keep up with the asana. But I was totally included and encouraged. Everything is modified if necessary to make it all accessible.

“Changed my whole understanding of yoga. Amazing!”
“Beyond words – my best week ever – away from the madness of the world,”
“Learning to be present, and just breathe in breathe out has changed my life.”
“Most conscious, compassionate, and connected group of people I have ever been around.”
