This retreat is open to all levels of yoga experience, including yoga teachers who want to deepen their practice. Our retreat features a teacher training component for those interested in offering chakra-based yoga classes and workshops. Registered Yoga Alliance teachers will receive 30 continuing education hours at the end of the retreat.

Teacher's Bio

Masuda Mohamadi, RYT 500, is the founder and director of Radiance Yoga studio in Alexandria, Virginia. In her classes, Masuda creates a warm and inviting space for students to relax, laugh, expand their awareness, discover their power, and connect with their creative essence. She finds yoga to be a powerful tool in experiencing peace, healing, and transformation.

Masuda leads workshops and retreats around the world on Kundalini Yoga, Meditation and the Chakras. Masuda is a Professional Level Kundalini Yoga Teacher Trainer and 500-hour level RYT and a graduate of Anodea Judith’s Sacred Center Program. She is also certified in restorative and prenatal yoga. Masuda holds a Master’s degree in Creative Writing and a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy, both from George Mason University. She has been published in The Washington Post Magazine and featured in National Geographic Magazine.

Angelina Fox, ERYT200, RYT500, YACEP Like so many others, Angelina began practicing yoga to supplement other exercises in 2005. Over time, the desire to learn more about the philosophy of yoga took hold, and she began her path as a teacher. Angelina completed her 200 Hour training from Samadhi Center for Yoga and Meditation in 2010, and her 500 Hour training from Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health in 2018. Angelina has also done numerous trainings including Divine Sleep Yoga Nidra, Rocket Yoga, Yin and Restorative Yoga. She is a Reiki Master, a Kripalu Ayurveda Yoga Teacher, and working toward becoming an Ayurvedic Health Counselor in 2019.

Angelina believes yoga creates a sacred space for each individual to connect to who they are, what they want from life, and to cultivate a life they love. With a slightly dry and nerdy sense of humor, a passion for yoga philosophy, and a great love for inversions, classes with Angelina are sure to get you connected to your inner nature and playful self.
